Bruce and Barbara Wilt Baltimore, Maryland Aug 29, 2020 Bruce here, I only met Bill once at Haley’s wedding and only spoke with him for a few minutes. But in that short time I knew that he was a very intelligent man who loved the LORD with all his heart. He left a lasting impression on me so much so that I felt like I knew him all my life. I know that sounds a little strange but that is the only way I know how to explain it. I miss him now and look forward to seeing him again when I go home to be with the LORD.

Michael Seamon Panama City, FL Aug 20, 2020 I can’t express in words all Biil meant to me, a great friend, an accountability partner and so much more. When I had to make the hardest decision in my life about my son he was right there beside me when the doctor came to talk to me, we prayed together and he supported me all the way. I’m going to miss the wisdom And humor he brought to our bible study and Sunday school. The one thing I know for sure is there was a great celebration when Bill arrived home to be with Jesus. Love ya brother Bill
Jackie Britt The Woodlands, Texas Aug 20, 2020 My sorrow is that I did not get to know this wonderfully supportive husband of my dear friend Cathy better. I cherish the time we had dinner on their porch on the lake with some of their friends. We had some common interests in going to Auburn, living in Montgomery at the same time, and trying to live the best life our Lord gave us. The Angels must have needed this dear man more. Bless the family he left to continue God's work.
Jimmy Panama City, FL Aug 19, 2020 I met MR. Walter Woodrick Franklin, TN Aug 19, 2020 Bill was a caring, intelligent, funny, honest, well-intentioned, smart, fair and God-loving friend and mentor to me for twenty years. He loved Cathy, his family, his friends, his church, his Bible study buddies, his animals, and those in need. He had a gift for seeing all sides and getting to the heart of an issue by seeing through the clutter to the real issues at hand. I will genuinely miss him and our conversations. Thank you, Bill, for helping guide me and make me think! Love you, Walter.
Joni Byrd Panama City Beach, FL Aug 17, 2020 Dear Papa, I don't have the words yet to express all the ways you shaped and changed me over 25 years of being part of your family. We miss you terribly...I especially miss hearing your laugh. Thank you for welcoming me as a daughter, for speaking truth to me, for the numerous times we prayed together in Jesus' name. Thank you for loving us all! Well done, good and faithful servant. Love you, Joni

Bryan Skelton Nashville, Tennessee Aug 17, 2020 “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” ??Psalms? ?23:1-6? ?NIV?? Your Bill lived this passage.

Barbara Hamner Panama City, Florida Aug 16, 2020 Bill was such a kind man and I am blessed to have known him!
Alisha Cade Panama City, Florida Aug 16, 2020 Today I found out that I lost a dear friend on Thursday. The last thing he said to me spoke great words of wisdom into my life. He told me that everything in life happens for a reason so before you get mad or sad, just think... and thank the Lord for this day. I will mis you forever, Mr. Bill. You forever changed my life for the better!
Ingela Haas-Forschel Solingen, Germany Aug 16, 2020 My American Dad, Bill, passed away due to Coronavirus complications. I wish I had the chance to introduce him to his German grandchildren. Thank you for introducing me to American football, Reese's peanut butter cups and for being the best host dad a little German girl could ever have had! War Eagle!
Bryan Skelton Nashville, Tennessee Aug 16, 2020 RIP, Mr. Bill Byrd. You will be missed. A gentleman and a pro. So many good memories. Heaven is a bit sweeter today.
Pat Sabiston Panama City, Florida Aug 16, 2020 Bill was a good friend and a talented webmaster for our ministry, Crossing Paths, Inc., which Cathy and I work in together. I can guarantee you when Bill got to heaven, our Heavenly Father told him, "Well done" He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill's extraordinary family.
Carol Montgomery , AL Aug 15, 2020 My big, big brother! Family celebrations will not be the same without you. No longer do you have to wonder “when can we leave”. Seriously, you loved our family and you loved me and Boyd. We always enjoyed our visits with you. Auburn football (if we ever have a season again) will not be the same either. Thank you for loving my sister and providing her with your love and grace. Your lake home is quiet without you. You are loved and missed. Love you much, Carol
Charlotte Donlon Birmingham, AL Aug 15, 2020 I'm so thankful for my dad and all he taught me and modeled for me. I'm thankful for his life and work and love. He always made sure I knew he loved me and my husband and our children. He told me at least once each week and sometimes many times each week. He also made sure we knew he was proud of us and that he prayed for us daily. When I asked him for prayers for specific situations, I knew he would actually pray instead of just saying he would pray. He often followed up with me about my prayer requests for me and my family and people he's never met. And he sent silly texts and dad jokes that made me laugh (and sometimes roll my eyes). I miss him and look forward to joining him at the The Heavenly Feast. I'm heartbroken but not without hope. Much love to everyone who knew him and loved him.
Billy Byrd Panama City Beach, Florida Aug 15, 2020 Dad, what can I say? It's weird down here without you texting and skyping with me everyday. I miss you. I love you! See you soon (but not too soon)!
Miranda Wilkins Panama City, Florida Aug 15, 2020 I am so thankful for the part that you and Mr. Bill have played in my walk of faith!! I will forever be grateful for the example that Mr. Bill set as a godly man!
